Jasmine Ly, MSW, ASW

Jasmine Ly, MSW, ASW has a diverse work experience in the social work field. Jasmine'smost recent position was as a Behavioral Health Therapist at Alvarado Parkway Institute Behavioral Health System, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Eligibility Specialist (Case Manager) at Child Development Associates from August 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they managed a caseload of 120 families participating in the Alternative Payment Program and conducted eligibility interviews, enrollment, and processing of requested changes according to established policies and procedures.

From September 2019 to August 2020, Jasmine served as a Domestic Violence Advocate at Crisis House. In this role, they assessed eligibility for the Rapid Re-housing program and provided comprehensive case management services to assist clients in obtaining self-sufficiency. Jasmine also participated in community-based collaboratives and developed housing partnerships to connect clients with housing referrals.

Jasmine gained experience as a Master of Social Work Intern at Crisis House from August 2017 to May 2018 and at the Social Policy Institute SDSU School of Social Work from August 2018 to May 2019. Jasmine also worked as a PrimeTime Program Assistant at Harmonium, Inc from February 2017 to August 2017.

Jasmine's early experience includes roles at YMCA of San Diego County, where they worked as a ChildWatch Attendant from October 2016 to August 2017 and as a PrimeTime Youth Leader I from September 2015 to September 2016.

Jasmine Ly, MSW, ASW has a robust education history. Jasmine obtained their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from San Diego State University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree at UC San Diego from 2011 to 2015, majoring in B.S. Psychology and B.A. Critical Gender Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Jasmine has acquired several certifications. In September 2020, they completed various courses on coaching conversations, coaching practices, coaching skills for managers specialization, managing as a coach, and setting expectations and assessing performance issues. These certifications were obtained through Coursera.

Furthermore, they hold an Advanced Certificate in Social Work Administration, which they obtained from San Diego State University in May 2019. Additionally, they have completed a 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training program offered by South Bay Community Services in October 2019.
