Chad R. Engbrecht has held various roles in the field of behavioral health and real estate development. Chad R. first worked at Alvarado Parkway Institute Behavioral Health System, starting in 2006. Chad R. initially served as a Board Member and later took on the role of Chief Financial Officer/Corporate Counsel. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing all financial matters of the psychiatric acute care hospital, which included managing contracts and providing employment law guidance to the human resources department. Chad worked in this role until November 2018.

In 2018, Chad joined Jackson House as the Chief Development Officer/General Counsel. Chad R. continues to hold this position.

Chad R. Engbrecht pursued their education starting from 1992 to 1996 at UC Santa Barbara, where they obtained a degree in Economics with an emphasis in accounting. Later, from 2000 to 2003, they attended the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor degree with Summa Cum Laude honors, specializing in Law.
