Laura Monter has over 30 years of work experience in the IT field. Laura began their career in 1989 as a Software Engineer at Applied Signal Technology. In 2002, they moved to GCI as a Senior Software Engineer/Integrator. In 2006, they joined AdRem Systems as a Project Manager/Agile Coach and ScrumMaster/Requirements Analyst. In 2019, they began working at BTI360 as an IT Project Manager. Currently, they are employed at Altus Consulting Corporation as an IT Project Manager/Configuration Manager.

Laura Monter obtained a BA in Mathematics from The College of Wooster between 1981 and 1985. In 2018, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
