J. Jacob Porter has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and consulting fields. J. Jacob began their career in 1996 as a Junior Engineer at CTX. In 1997, they moved to Geo-Com, Inc. (now GCI) as an RF Engineer. From 1999-2002, they were an Independent Management Consultant at XM Satellite Radio, where they were the PM for the installation of audio, data, fiber, and control networks in XM's broadcast facility in Washington DC, and then transitioned to assist the Vice President in charge of the installation of the nationwide network of terrestrial repeaters. In 2002, they founded and became the Owner of Altus Consulting Corporation.
J. Jacob Porter attended The University of Alabama from 1989 to 1996, where they earned a BS in Electrical Engineering.
