Mike Phelan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public safety and strategic account management. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Accounts for Maryland and the Commercial GM for the Eastern Region at Altumint since June 2022, Mike has previously held similar roles at Optotraffic from April 2015 to September 2022, including Director of Maryland Public Safety Liaison Services. Michael Phelan's career began in law enforcement, working as a Police Officer with the New Bern Police Department and later as a Deputy at the St. Marys County Sheriff's Office. Mike holds a degree in Justice Studies from Frostburg State University, obtained from 2000 to 2004, and graduated from Leonardtown High School in 2000.
