Simon Spurrier has a diverse work experience starting from 2014. Simon worked as a Consulting Analyst at KPMG UK from September 2014 to September 2015. Following that, they joined Nomura as a Trading Summer Intern for June to August 2016 and later became a Trading Analyst from September 2016 to September 2017. In 2018, they joined Entrepreneur First, where they worked in Company Building from September 2018 to May 2019. Currently, Simon is the CEO of ERA since February 2023, previously having been the CTO from June 2019 to February 2023.

Simon Spurrier completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Bath from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London, which they pursued between 2017 and 2018. Simon also received a certification in CISI Level 3 Derivatives & Securities from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in January 2017.
