Tim Vaughan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in security and operational leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Threat Detection & Response Operations at Altria since March 2015, Tim has also held various senior roles within the company, including Director of Security Strategy & Services and Senior Manager of Global Threat Management and Security Operations. Prior to this, Tim's military background in the U.S. Navy Reserve includes leadership positions such as Operations Department Head and Communications, Plans & Operations Officer. Tim’s earlier experience includes significant roles at Markel Corporation, where responsibilities included Information Security Team Lead and Senior Security Analyst, as well as roles in network engineering at several technology firms. Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University and completed the Cybersecurity Leadership Academy through CEB in 2017.
