James Stevens is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in acquisitions, asset management, and development. Currently serving in Retail Acquisitions at ALTO Real Estate Funds since January 2022, James specializes in sourcing open air shopping center acquisitions in the Southeast, managing underwriting and valuation processes for deals averaging $15-$40 million, and fostering industry relationships. Prior to this role, James held the position of Vice President at Dylan Investments from October 2011 to July 2021, overseeing over $70 million in commercial and residential acquisitions, managing a diverse $200 million portfolio, and leading significant real estate development projects. James possesses an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics from California State University, Los Angeles.
