Vice President of Clinical Partnerships at Altis Labs

Duoaud Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, they serve as the Vice President of Clinical Partnerships at Altis Labs, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a CABHI Coach at the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation, where they provided mentorship and coaching to innovators to help grow and scale their solutions.

Duoaud also has a significant tenure at the Techna Institute, where they held multiple roles. Duoaud started in 2012 as a Project Manager and later progressed to become the Manager of Consulting Services & Co-Development. In 2022, they became the Senior Manager of Translational Research and Innovation.

Before joining the Techna Institute, Duoaud worked as a Research Associate at the University Health Network and as a Research and Development Manager at Walsh Medical Devices Inc. Duoaud also served as an Instructor at Centennial College and as an Outreach Coordinator at the Engineering Outreach Office at the University of Toronto.

Duoaud Shah has an extensive education history spanning from high school to specialized certifications and degrees in various fields of study. Beginning in 1993, they attended Queen's College in Guyana, where they obtained their GCE in High School education. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics at York University from 2002 to 2006. In 2007, Shah furthered their studies by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, which they completed in 2010. Duoaud then obtained a series of certificates from the University of Toronto, including one in Project Management from 2015 to 2016, and another in Advanced Project Management from 2016 to 2017.

Continuing their academic journey, in 2021 Shah attended The Michener Institute of Education at UHN, where they completed a certificate program focused on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, which concluded in 2022. With this diverse educational background, Duoaud Shah demonstrates a commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise across multiple disciplines.
