Jaime Pereira is a seasoned Senior Embedded Firmware & Middleware Engineer at Altice Labs, with experience since October 2014 leading the Firmware & Middleware Team. Responsibilities include product architecture definition for hardware and firmware, development of firmware/software for OLT equipment, ONU, Wi-Fi extenders, and 5G RU, as well as board bring-up of various devices. Prior to this role, Jaime Pereira worked as an R&D Electronic Engineer at HARPIA TECH SA, focusing on the research and development of electronic systems for drones and UAVs from February to September 2014. Jaime Pereira obtained a Master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with a focus on Electronics, Robotics, and Embedded Systems from Universidade de Aveiro (2007-2012) and completed another Master’s in Industrial Automation from the same institution (2017-2019).
