Nidia Gomez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and project management, currently serving as the Gerente Cultivación de Inclusión at Alterna Impact since June 2019, where responsibilities include designing and executing training processes for entrepreneurs and managing projects funded by international donors. Previous roles include Perishables Manager at Walmart, Executive Director at FECCEG overseeing socioeconomic development projects, and Coordinadora de Agroindustria at Exportadora de Cafe Especial de Guatemala S.A. where efforts focused on developing the coffee agro-industrial chain. Additionally, Nidia has provided technical consultancy at HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, contributing to production and operational processes. Nidia holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Universidad Mesoamericana and an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
