María Isabel Oliva is an experienced professional with a strong background in business management and consultancy across various industries. Currently serving as the Expansion Partnerships Manager at Alterna since April 2021, María Isabel has led sourcing strategies that benefited over 1,000 businesses in Latin America and has successfully sourced businesses for the impact investment fund. Prior to this role, María Isabel worked as an Independent Business Consultant, focusing on SME consultancy and E-commerce strategies, and held multiple positions at Ingrup Latam, where responsibilities included coordinating certified management systems and managing non-conformances across several plants. María Isabel holds an MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has pursued further education related to entrepreneurship and sustainability. Additional qualifications include a diploma in data mining and a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
