Karen Harrod has over 20 years of experience in the field of finance and business administration. Karen started their career in 1978 at Siemens, where they served as the Director of Finance for 23 years. In 2001, they joined Alterity, Inc. as the Director of Business Administration and continues to hold this position.

Karen Harrod obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Dallas Baptist University between 1988 and 1992, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
