Stas Poritskiy has a strong background in Python engineering and software development, with a focus on pipeline development and tool creation. Starting at Farmcp in 2010 as a Pipeline Technical Director, Stas worked in a similar role at Gameloft and Method Studios before joining Activision Blizzard in 2016 as a Studio Senior Technical Artist and Pipeline developer. At Activision Blizzard, Stas proposed and developed Python frameworks, implemented dashboard services, automated software distribution and management, supported the Device Cloud platform, and created user-facing tools. Stas then worked at InsideMaps Inc as a Senior Pipeline/Tool Developer before moving to Rotor Studios as a Senior Python Developer. Stas later joined Tibra Capital, starting as a Python Software Developer and later becoming a Team Lead. Currently, Stas is working as a Python Engineer at Altered State Machine.
Stas Poritskiy received their Bachelor's Degree in Game Development from the International Academy of Design and Technology, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, they also obtained a Autodesk Certificate of Completion in Software design for Multimedia Pipeline from The M.I.A. Training Center, School of Visual Effects. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Autodesk Maya from Autodesk in May 2007.
