Michael Hatch is a seasoned marine engineer specializing in mechanical engineering with significant experience in various roles within the maritime industry. Currently serving as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Altera Infrastructure since July 2023, Michael is involved in the FSO Conversion for the Baleine Project. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Marine Technician at Wood and WRS - Worldwide Recruitment Solutions, and served multiple roles at Northern Marine Manning Services Ltd and TEEKAY PETROJARL UK LIMITED, including 1st Engineer on the Banff FPSO, where responsibilities included maintenance and decommissioning efforts. Michael's earlier experience includes positions at BP Shipping, where roles ranged from 3rd Engineer to 4th Engineer, and starting as a Cadet at Mideast Shipping. Michael obtained an HND in Marine Engineering from South Tyneside College between 2007 and 2010.
