Elisabeth Heitmann Sandnes currently serves as Decarbonization Manager and Vessel Manager at Altera Infrastructure since March 2020, overseeing technical and operational matters for Shuttle Tankers to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and environmental performance. Prior experience includes roles at Teekay from June 2011 to March 2020, where Elisabeth held positions such as Sustainability & VOCIC Administrator, Procurement Manager, and Vessel Manager, also managing Shuttle Tankers and overseeing procurement activities. Additional experience includes being a Maritime Purchaser at KGJS from March 2007 to April 2011, where Elisabeth handled procurement for a fleet of vessels and participated in conversion projects. Elisabeth's education includes an MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Technology Management from the University of Oslo and an MBA in Technopreneurship from the National University of Singapore, among other qualifications.
