Christer Apelskog is a seasoned professional with over 33 years of experience in the Oil & Gas offshore and onshore petrochemical industries. Currently serving as Commissioning Manager for Altera Infrastructure on the Rosebank project in Dubai since February 2023, Christer has previously held similar roles at VÃ¥r Energi from January 2020 to January 2023, Equinor from February 2017 to December 2019, and Det norske oljeselskap ASA from April 2014 to February 2017, which included management responsibilities in Singapore and London. Christer's extensive background encompasses all phases of project execution, including engineering, mechanical completion, commissioning, hook-up, and operations, complemented by experience as an internal and external quality auditor and in the planning and implementation of technical training related to various projects.
