Armando Fox is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur currently serving as the Faculty Advisor for Digital Learning Strategy, Professor of Computer Science, and Research Scientist at the University of California, Berkeley, since January 2006. Within the Reliable Adaptive Distributed Systems Lab, Armando collaborates with prominent co-principal investigators. Additionally, Armando is a co-founder of Strawberry Canyon LLC, focused on self-publishing educational resources, and holds a position on the Board of Directors at Altarena Playhouse, contributing to community theatre management. Previous experience includes co-founding Mentive to innovate in online education, serving as an Assistant Professor at Stanford University, and co-founding ProxiNet, Inc. Armando's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and MIT.
