Zixin Liu has a diverse range of work experience in data engineering and business intelligence. Starting in 2013 at Lytx, Inc., Zixin worked as an SQL/BI Developer, focusing on modifying data warehouses and creating various reports for driving safety systems. They also collaborated with business users to enhance ETL applications.

In 2015, Zixin joined Modern Healthcare, Inc. as a BI Engineer. Their responsibilities included modeling data warehouses, creating ETL packages, and automating data extraction processes. They also developed reports and dashboards using PowerPivot, SSRS, and Power View.

From 2016 to 2022, Zixin worked at UnitedHealth Group as a Senior Data Engineer. Their role involved designing data warehouses using Azure Synapse and Databricks, migrating data to Azure data lake and data warehouse, and developing reports using various tools such as SSRS, PowerBI, and Tableau.

Currently, Zixin is employed as a Senior Data Engineer at AltaMed Health Services, one of the nation's largest community health networks. Their focus is on meeting patients' needs and promoting community well-being.

Throughout their work experience, Zixin has demonstrated skills in data engineering, ETL processes, report development, and data visualization using various tools and platforms.

Zixin Liu completed their Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature at North East Agricultural University in Haerbin, China from 2003 to 2007. In the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Law from the same institution. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, Liu pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General at National University. Lastly, they furthered their education by completing a Master of Science in Computer Science at National University from 2011 to 2013.
