Dr.-Ing. Laura Thurn is an accomplished professional in material engineering, currently serving as Manager Material Engineering at Altair since January 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Thurn held the position of Senior Scientist at M-Base Engineering + Software GmbH in 2020 and gained extensive experience at Aachen University of Applied Sciences - FH Aachen from 2014 to 2019, where responsibilities included leading the GoetheLab for Additive Manufacturing and contributing as a scientific employee. Additionally, experience as a Project Engineer was established at Institut für werkzeuglose Fertigung (IwF GmbH) from 2013 to 2014.
