Ed Peguillan III has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Ed is currently working at Altaeros as a Software Engineer and previously worked as a Software Development Consultant. Before that, they worked at the United States Postal Service as an R&D Reliability/Systems Engineer. Ed also worked at Digital Six Laboratories Inc as an Electrical Engineer, where they reduced battery power consumption and implemented an over-the-air update system for embedded Linux devices. Additionally, they developed version control policies and instructed employees on effective git usage. Ed also worked briefly at Maxcess International as an Electrical Design Specialist. Prior to that, Ed worked at the University of Oklahoma as an Embedded Systems Engineer and played a key role in designing a sensor array for an autonomous drone. Ed also worked at H&B Machine and Manufacturing as a Senior Drafter, CNC/Manual Machinist, and Network Administrator, where they managed a project designing a prototype cooling tower and repaired an industrial CNC plasma/flame cutter.
Ed Peguillan III attended the University of Oklahoma from 2010 to 2018, where they studied Electrical and Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications throughout the years. In 2013, they received the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. In 2018, they became a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer, accredited by National Instruments. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
