Jane Nesbit has a work experience spanning several years. Jane started their career as the President of Alta Systems, Inc. in January 1985, and their role there continues to the present day. In 2009, Jane took on the role of Board Chair at Planned Parenthood of North Florida, which lasted until 2010.

Jane Nesbit attended the University of Vermont from 1972 to 1976, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature.
