Daniel Evans is a Senior Research Scientist with experience in research and development of next-generation non-flammable batteries. At Alsym Energy, Daniel leads a group focused on exploratory and applied research for these innovative batteries. Prior to their current role, Daniel worked at Albemarle Corporation where Daniel played a key role in identifying and compounding new zeolite leads into high-performance FCC catalysts. Daniel's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Boston University. Their research interests include inorganic and organometallic synthesis, catalyst synthesis, and analysis.
