Ravi Kumar Kannan is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in simulator engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Simulator Engineer at Alstom since April 2023, Ravi has previously held the position of Lead Engineer at HENSOLDT since December 2017, contributing significantly to the integration and commissioning of Partial Driving Simulators for various metro rail projects in India, including successful projects in Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Ravi's career also includes a tenure at Airbus as a Lead Engineer, where involvement in metro train simulators continued, and a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Thales, focusing on airport visual databases for pilot training simulators. Earlier experience encompasses visual database development at CAE and leadership in engineering roles at John Crane, showcasing a strong technical background and project management capabilities throughout a diverse engineering career.
