David Owen has extensive experience in human resources and talent management, currently serving as the Head of People at Alscient since November 2021. Prior to this, David Owen worked as a Recruitment & Onboarding Consultant from March to November 2021 and served as an Enterprise Advisor for CIPD and the Careers & Enterprise Company from July 2020 to October 2021. David Owen's foundational experience includes a significant tenure at Asda from January 2009 to May 2020, where responsibilities encompassed HR Manager and Regional Training Manager roles, overseeing HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and training across various teams and sites. Academically, David Owen holds a Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management from Leeds Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Licensed Retail Management from the University of Wolverhampton.
