Wayne Sime serves as the Chief Executive of The Association Of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) since October 2018, overseeing the strategic aims of the organization dedicated to scholarly and professional publishing. Concurrently, Wayne holds the position of Non Executive Director at Publishers' Licensing Services (PLS). Previously, Wayne was the Director of Library Services at the Royal Society of Medicine from September 2006 to May 2018, where the focus was on enhancing postgraduate medical education and managing diverse stakeholder needs within the organization. Wayne's career includes serving as the Knowledge & Library Services Manager at Kettering General Hospital NHS Trust and as Senior Archivist at Nationwide Building Society. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from The Open University and a BSc(Econ) in Information & Library Studies from Aberystwyth University.
