Patrick de van der Schueren is the Chief Legal Officer at AlpInvest Partners B. V., where Patrick holds overall responsibility for all legal affairs. Prior to this, Patrick worked as a Partner at Steins Bisschop Meijburg & Co and as a Senior Associate at Loyens&Loeff, Loeff Clays Verbeke, and Ali Budiardjo Nugroho Reksodiputro. Patrick has a Master's degree in European and International Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Masters in Dutch Private Law from Utrecht University. Additionally, Patrick holds a Base Doctorate in Contemporary History and completed their Atheneum A at Sint Joris College. Patrick has also served in leadership roles at the Rotterdam Young Bar Association.
