Rini Thomas began their work experience in 2014 as a Pharmacovigilance Associate at Novartis, where they worked until December 2015. Rini then joined Johnson & Johnson in October 2016 as a Drug Safety Associate II, leaving in July 2017. From July 2017 to July 2018, Rini worked at American Regent, Inc. as a Drug Safety Associate III. In August 2018, they started working at UBC as a Safety Scientist, where they remained until April 2022. Currently, Rini Thomas is employed as a Lead Safety Scientist at Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc. starting in April 2022.

Rini Thomas completed their education from 2006 to 2013 at Sri Ramachandra Institute Of Higher Education and Research, earning a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree with a specialization in Pharmacology and Toxicology. In November 2016, they obtained the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee Certification (FPGEC) from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
