Louise Plant has a strong background in sales and business development. Louise started their career in 1993 with JLA Ltd, where they worked their way up from National Sales Manager to Key Accounts Director. During their time there, they focused on streamlining the team and increasing profitability. In 2010, they joined JLA Ltd as the Business Development Director for Black Box Intelligence, where they were responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and planning. Louise then moved on to John Laithwaite Partners as the Business Development Director, where they assisted in defining sales strategy and business planning for various businesses. After that, they worked at Interserve as a Sales Director, overseeing safety critical support services for infrastructure and industrial environments. Louise then joined Washstation as the Director of Sales and Business Development, where they prepared the business for sale. Most recently, they worked at Hobart UK as the Sales and Marketing Director, providing support for catering equipment brands. Louise is currently the Service and Business Development Director at Alpine Fire Engineers Ltd.

Louise Plant attended Wardle High School from 1979 to 1984, where they studied mathematics, additional mathematics, physics, chemistry, English language, French, and history. Louise then went on to study applied mathematics, physics, and music at Bishop Henshaw from 1984 to 1986.
