Brooke Warren is an experienced outdoor and multimedia professional with a background in photography and guiding. Currently serving as a Ski and Ice Guide with San Juan Mountain Guides since December 2021 and as a Mountain Guide with Alpine Ascents International since May 2019, Brooke also engages in self-employed photography and filmmaking, and instructs at Colorado Outward Bound School. Previous roles include Associate Photo Editor and Associate Designer at High Country News, where responsibilities included curating photo stories and magazine design. Additional experience includes guiding and photographing adventure travel with Rustic Pathways in Peru, coordinating photography assignments for The Planet, and interning as a photo editor at Skagit Publishing. Brooke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Journalism from Western Washington University and studied at Universidad Andres Bello.
