Sunil Bhardwaj has a comprehensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Sunil started their career at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation in 2001, where they held roles as Device Modeling Senior Staff and later as Technology Development Senior Staff. At Micron Technology, Sunil worked in engineering at a memory startup called Innovative Silicon, which was later acquired. Sunil then joined Rambus in 2010, where they held various roles including Director/Senior Manager of ASIC/Foundry Management, Senior Director of Engineering/Management, and Senior Director of Operations/Semiconductors | Cryptography. In 2019, Sunil joined Cadence Design Systems as the Senior Group Director of IP Sales, Applications Engineering, and Sales Operations, focusing on global technical teams and sales operations. In 2022, they worked at Alphawave Semi as the Vice President of Operations, Custom Silicon, and also briefly held a similar position at SiFive. In 2023, Sunil joined Campbell Union High School District as a Member of the Board of Directors.

Sunil Bhardwaj holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Sunil also completed an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at St. Joseph's Academy SJA Dehradun.
