Mats Ellefsen is an experienced sales professional currently serving as the Regional Director of Sales for EMEA at AlphaSense since May 2022. Prior to this role, Mats worked at S&P Global Market Intelligence from January 2017 to May 2022, initially as a Senior Relationship Manager focusing on banks and insurance markets in the UK, Nordics, and Netherlands, before advancing to Manager of Sales & Relationship Management overseeing a team in various commercial sectors. Mats's career includes roles as Senior Account Manager at SNL Financial, where responsibility involved managing European financial institutions, and earlier positions at S&P Capital IQ as an Account Manager and Client Development Analyst as part of the Capital IQ Graduate Programme. Mats holds a BSc(Hons) in Business Administration and Management from Lancaster University.
