David Thieme currently serves as the Director of High Frequency Trading Technology at Quest Partners LLC since January 2023. Previously, David held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Gemini, focusing on the core matching engine and derivatives, and was a Senior Strategy and Trading Developer at DV Trading LLC, where David developed systems for energy swaps and futures. Earlier experience includes roles as Lead Software Engineer at Trading Technologies, Principal Software Consultant at Intercontinental Exchange, and Chief Technology Officer at Tetradyne, where David created a systematic options market making platform. Additional roles spanned senior software engineering and consulting positions at Chicago Trading Company, Bank of America, and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. David holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
