Jordan Chase is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research, development, and engineering within the field of thermoelectric technology. Currently serving as the Director of Research & Development at MycoWorks since January 2018 and as Lead Engineer at Alphabet Energy since January 2014, Jordan specializes in the mechanical design and optimization of power-conversion devices and systems through advanced multiphysics simulations. Prior experience includes a role as Technologist II / Mechanical Engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on the design and testing of thermoelectric devices, and earlier positions at UCLA Outdoor Adventures, where Jordan guided wilderness outings, and as a bicycle mechanic and Student Supervisor at the UCLA bike shop. Jordan also completed a process engineering internship at Sensata Technologies, contributing to the testing and verification of manufacturing processes for fluid pressure sensors. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, attained in 2010.
