Pieter Knook has held a variety of roles in the technology and telecom industries. From 2011 to 2020, they were a Member of Cambridge Angels, Deputy Chairman of Pulsant, Non Executive Board Member of BIO-key International, Inc., Chairman of Altitude Angel, and Non Executive Director of Telenor. In 2017, they were also an Industrial Advisor at H.I.G. Capital. In 2019, they were Chairman of the Board at LINX (The London Internet Exchange) and Non Executive Director at ALPHA10X. In 2020, they became Chairman of Broad Horizon, and in 2022 they will become Senior Advisor at Apax Partners sas, managing or advising €4.8 of funds dedicated to taking significant equity stakes in innovative and fast-growing companies.

Pieter Knook attended the University of Cambridge from 1977 to 1980, where they earned a degree in Electrical Sciences with a focus in Engineering.
