Ophir Hazut is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Alpha Tau Medical since July 2021, previously holding the roles of Mechanical Engineer. Prior to this position, Ophir worked at Dorot Control Valves from August 2014 to July 2021, where responsibilities included leading the product engineering team and serving as Product Manager. Ophir holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution (2010-2014).
