Harriet Burke is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in publishing, media, and public relations. Currently serving as a Publishing Coordinator at Alpha International since February 2021, Harriet has also worked as a Freelance Editor and PR Consultant since October 2018. Previous roles include Media Specialist and PR Account Manager at Reputation Matters® from July 2014 to September 2018, and English Teacher at Tshikevha Christian School from May 2013 to May 2014. Harriet's career in journalism began at The Times newspaper from January 2009 to January 2012, where the role of News Journalist was held. Educated at Rhodes University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies, Harriet also holds a B.Soc.Sci in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Cape Town, along with a Certificate in Public Relations and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in English and History from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.
