Tom Valli has over 30 years of experience in the field of environmental science and project management. Tom served as the Environmental Scientist, Project Manager, and Director of Environmental Services at ALPHA Facilities Solutions, LLC since July 2010. Prior to that, they worked at Zell Engineers, Inc. as a Project Manager and Department Manager of Environmental Engineering, where they provided a range of environmental consulting services to ensure compliance with various EPA regulatory programs. Tom also worked as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at BlueSky Environmental, providing environmental, geotechnical, industrial hygiene, and health and safety services to contractors working on U.S. Army projects. Earlier in their career, they worked at Michael Baker Corporation as an Environmental Scientist, Geologist, and Project Manager, specializing in asbestos surveys, management plans, and abatement oversight. Before that, they worked as an Industrial Hygienist at Biospsherics, Inc., conducting asbestos inspections and overseeing abatement projects.
Tom Valli obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geology with a minor in Meteorology from Slippery Rock University from 1984 to 1989. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed a 30 Hour OSHA Training Construction Industry Standard from OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training in July 2020. Tom also has various certifications related to environmental and occupational health such as Certified Indoor Air Quality Technician, Certified Mold Inspection and Assessment, EPA Accredited Lead Based Paint Inspector, EPA Certified Asbestos Building Inspector, and many others.
