Nadia Georgakopoulou has extensive work experience in various roles at Alpha Bank. Nadia started in 1998 as an Assistant Manager and Product Manager in the Cards Division, where they played a significant role in the launch and development of the Bonus loyalty scheme and American Express card products. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the Head of Retail Banking Sales, and from 2011 to 2014, they were responsible for the bank's Cards and Consumer Credit Products. During this time, they managed the leading cards business in Greece and implemented various customer loyalty schemes. From 2012 to 2014, they held the position of Head of Asset Gathering & Investment Banking Products, Personal Banking and Bancassurance, where they successfully expanded the personal banking network and handled the absorption of the Emporiki Bank portfolios. In 2014, they became the CEO of Diners Club of Greece and later, in 2015, took on the role of Head of Customer Experience and Loyalty at Alpha Bank. Prior to their tenure at Alpha Bank, Nadia worked as a Marketing and Communication consultant as a freelancer from 1994 to 1998. Before that, they held positions at Ted Bates, K&D advertising agency, and Lyra record company, where they gained experience in marketing and account management.
Nadia Georgakopoulou attended the University of Edinburgh Business School from 1989 to 1990, where they obtained an MBA (Edin) in Business, Management, and Marketing. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in History and Archaeology at the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Before entering university, they attended Lykeion "Athena", Zirides for their high school education.
