Steven Gmelin has extensive work experience in sales and strategy roles, particularly in the eCommerce and grocery industry. Steven currently serves as the Vice President of Digital Sales & Strategy at ALOHA, where they are responsible for driving sales growth through eCommerce channels and managing customer experience, digital marketing, and content. Previously, they worked at PepsiCo in various positions, including leading the eCommercer Sales Team for Walmart Online Grocery, spearheading a team of sales managers for Walmart.com and Jet.com, and serving as the Director of eCommerce Sales for eGrocery accounts. Steven also oversaw client accounts for allied brands and managed key accounts such as The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company and Ahold USA. Prior to PepsiCo, they interned at Pepsi Bottling Group HQ in retail sales and marketing. Throughout their career, Steven has demonstrated strong leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, contributing to successful sales strategies, national product launches, and business growth.
Steven Gmelin graduated from James Madison University in 2004 with a degree in Marketing Information Systems. Steven pursued studies in the field of Marketing/Marketing Management, General during their time at the university. In October 2019, Steven obtained a certification in "Shane Snow on Storytelling" from LinkedIn.
