Kristen Halvorsen has a comprehensive work experience in the field of nursing. Kristen is currently the Director of Nursing at Aloha Solutions Co, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Nurse Manager M7 (Surgical) at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center from February 2019 to October 2021. Kristin also worked at Loyola University Medical Center where they held various roles including Nurse Manager 5NEWS (Transplant & Hepatology) from September 2016 to February 2019, Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist from June 2015 to September 2016, and Staff Registered Nurse from August 2011 to June 2015, where they also served as a Preceptor and Charge Nurse. Kristin earned a CMSRN certification and achieved Clinical Ladder Level 4 during their time as a Staff Registered Nurse.

Kristen Halvorsen holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Loyola University Chicago, specializing in Health Systems Management. Kristen completed this program from 2013 to 2016. Prior to their master's degree, Kristen obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a second major in Mathematics from Saint Louis University, which they completed from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they hold certifications such as Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) from the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN), obtained in May 2013; and Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) from the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), obtained in June 2018.
