May Tobar, MBA, serves as Director of Global TTR Marketing at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since April 2023. Prior to this role, May held several positions in the pharmaceutical industry, including Senior Director of Patient Advocacy at Jaguar Gene Therapy, where May developed the advocacy function and advanced the company's preclinical pipeline. At Novartis Gene Therapies, May led the integrated product strategy for the launch of ZOLGENSMA, focusing on brand consistency and messaging. May's experience also includes roles at Melinta Therapeutics, SB Pharma Solutions, Weber Shandwick, Durata Therapeutics, Valley Lo Sports Club, and The College of Wooster. May holds an MBA from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in English from The College of Wooster, with additional study abroad experience at Victoria University of Wellington.
