Mia Stuhre serves as a Board Member for the Democracy Festival Association, contributing to the collaboration and enhancement of democracy festivals across the Nordic and Baltic regions and Europe since March 2021. As the Verksamhetsledare for Almedalsveckan and Region Gotland, Mia plays a pivotal role in managing one of the world's largest democratic meeting spaces and leading significant administrative projects. With a diverse background, Mia has held key positions including process leader and departmental manager overseeing multiple administrative units, and has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and sponsor advisor. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Växjö University, obtained between 1988 and 1993.
