George Kanj is an experienced construction and engineering professional with a robust background in managing large-scale projects. Currently, George serves as Vice President at Almabani General Contractors since January 2024 and has been the Deputy Director for the BACS Riyadh Metro Project since August 2014, overseeing key stations including the KAFD Iconic station designed by Zaha Hadid. Prior roles include General Manager at Gulf East, Executive Director positions at Aljaber Engineering and Contracting and Bemco & Almabani Engineering and Contracting Co Qatar, as well as Project Manager at Almabani General Contractors and Cargill. George holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida, obtained between 1985 and 1993.
