Sean Dougherty has extensive experience in the field of astronomy, currently serving as the Director at ALMA Observatory since February 2018. Prior to this role, Sean Dougherty held the position of Director at the National Research Centre (NRC) from June 2006 to February 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing Canadian radio and millimetre astronomy facilities, specifically ALMA and JCMT, as well as managing Canada's contributions to the JVLA and the SKA.
