Wayne Pickup has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Wayne is currently the CEO of Allwyn North America since March 2018. Prior to that, Wayne served as the Chief Executive of Lotto New Zealand from March 2012 to December 2017. Wayne also held positions such as Head of Government Markets at GTECH Interactive from October 2010 to March 2012, and GM Australasia Sales and Operations at IGT from March 2008 to November 2010. Before joining IGT, Wayne worked at Lotto New Zealand as the Chief Information Officer from October 2006 to March 2008, IT Projects Director from January 2004 to September 2006, and Head of Distribution and Innovation in 2003. Wayne initially began their career at Carter Holt Harvey in various roles such as Team Leader - Procurement and Logistics, Supervisor - Technology, and as part of the Graduate Programme. Wayne also gained experience as a Project Manager and Product Manager at ACE Interactive, as well as an Account Support Manager at Emerson Network Power.

Wayne Pickup attended The University of Auckland from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Marketing, Psychology, and Math and earned a degree in Business and Science. In 2015, they briefly attended London Business School to study Organizational Leadership, but did not complete a degree.
