Leah Vanidestine has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Leah began their career as a Staffing Specialist at Bonney Staffing Center, LLC, where they collaborated with local companies to determine hiring strategies and managed the applicant database. Leah then worked as an Executive Assistant to the Town Manager at the Town of Brunswick, providing administrative support and acting as a liaison between residents, the Town Manager, and Town Council.
Leah's next role was as an Executive Assistant to the Director at Procter & Gamble, where they provided executive-level administrative support and facilitated meetings and presentations as a Trainer for Zenger Miller Frontline Leadership Training. Leah also coordinated domestic and international travel arrangements. Leah later transitioned to the role of Human Resource Assistant, where they continued to facilitate meetings and presentations as a Trainer and provided logistical support for meetings and events.
Leah then moved on to Drummond Woodsum, where they served as a Legal Secretary, providing administrative support to multiple partners in areas such as Indian Law and Real Estate Law. Leah also handled event planning for nationwide conferences and maintained dockets and calendars for attorneys.
In 2004, Leah joined Preti Flaherty as a Legal Secretary, providing administrative support to the Managing Partner and Senior Counsel. Leah'sresponsibilities included client contact, travel arrangements, calendaring, and scheduling meetings.
Leah then worked at Bingham McCutchen as an Executive Legal Assistant Paralegal, supporting multiple partners in the Securities Law Group. Leah'sduties included client communication, travel arrangements, expense reporting, drafting correspondence, and managing accounts with outside vendors.
From 2013 to 2019, Leah worked as an Executive Legal Assistant at Sidley Austin LLP, an international law firm. In this role, they provided executive administrative support to multiple Partners in Securities Enforcement and Regulatory White Collar. Leah also facilitated the integration of the Bingham McCutchen group into Sidley Austin and maintained cross-departmental relationships.
In 2020, Leah joined Central Maine Healthcare as an Executive Assistant II to the President and CEO. Leah supported the senior leadership team, provided executive support to the CEO and President, and mentored and coached a group of Executive Assistants.
Leah then worked at Corel Corporation as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, where they served as a strategic business partner and built efficiency and responsiveness into existing operations. Leah also acted as a liaison between the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, board members, staff, and the public.
Currently, Leah is serving as the Chief of Staff at Alludo. In this role, they advise and partners with the CEO and executive team, ensures clear communication and feedback loops, and develops and tracks OKRs across the organization.
Through their various roles, Leah has gained a wide range of skills in executive support, communication, relationship management, event planning, and team leadership.
Leah Vanidestine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Medical/Clinical Assistant from Andover College from 1994 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Leah has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include the Foundations of Leadership Certificate 1 and 2 from The National Society of Leadership and Success in June 2021, Mindfulness Practices certification from LinkedIn in April 2021, Human Relations in Administration certification from Soomo Learning in February 2021, and a Notary Public certification from the State of Maine in October 2002.
