Nicolas Barthez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nicolas is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Allocab since March 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded footfoot in 2018 and instan in 2019, where they held the position of Co-Founder in both companies.
In 2016, Nicolas worked as a Partner at Geeksters.co, a startup focused on helping other startups and corporations in developing digital products. At Geeksters.co, their role involved overseeing the entire development process, from conception to launch and maintenance.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Nicolas gained significant experience at Accenture as a Manager, where they worked on several notable projects involving SAP template roll-outs, master data management, purchasing data optimization, and other core SAP modules. Nicolas managed large teams and successfully executed projects, impacting thousands of users across multiple countries.
Prior to Accenture, they worked as a SAP Consultant at Capgemini, where they contributed to a project involving invoices dematerialization and also served as the responsible for the invoice verification department.
Early in their career, Nicolas interned at L'Oréal, focusing on supply chain management, and worked briefly as an Assistant Controller at Bertelsmann.
Overall, Nicolas has extensive experience in operations, co-founding startups, project management, SAP consulting, and supply chain management.
Nicolas Barthez completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2002. Nicolas then pursued a BA (Hons) degree in International Business from The Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003-2004. In 2004-2005, Nicolas studied International Business/Trade/Commerce at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. Later, from 2002 to 2006, they obtained a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Montpellier Business School. In 2015-2017, Nicolas attended CentraleSupélec for a project management program. Additionally, in 2017, they acquired a certification in Gamification from The Wharton School.
