Alex Buerger is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and oversight. Currently serving as Corporate Manager of Accounting Shared Services at Allient Inc. since November 2021, Alex manages the corporate shared services department, focusing on accounts receivable, accounts payable, month-end financial close, and forecasting for North American business units. Previous roles include Global A/R & Credit Manager at Caplugs, where Alex led a team to improve DSO for a $300M annual revenue company, and Controller for both Person Centered Services Care Coordination Organization, LLC and Autism Services Inc., overseeing accounting and financial activities while supporting large populations within New York State. Alex began a career in auditing with Arcara Zucarelli Lenda & Associates, CPAs, PC, performing financial statement audits, and gained foundational experience as an Accounting Associate at CannonDesign. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Daemen University.
