Joseph Carter has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2013, they worked at Adelphia Exteriors as a Canvass Manager, where they trained and managed a team of twenty canvassers, created spreadsheets of leads, and provided homeowners with estimates. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Head Student Manager at George Mason Men's Basketball, overseeing daily operations, organizing practices and games, and managing inventory. In 2018, they worked as an Assistant Basketball Coach at St. Mary's College of Maryland, where they recruited and met with prospective student-athletes, reviewed game film, and trained athletes in individual workouts. Later in the same year, they worked as a Permanent Substitute Teacher at George Washington Carver Elementary School, supporting teachers in executing lesson plans, assisting students with behavioral issues, and providing focused instruction to developmentally delayed students in reading and math. Most recently, since 2019, Joseph has been working as a Financial Analyst at Allied Associates International.

Joseph Carter completed their education from 2014 to 2018 at George Mason University's School of Business. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a field of study in Business Management.
